Fundamental Diagram 1

Act cells moving in narrow channels. Note that even though there is no chemokine gradient or directional bias, cells in the same channel often align their direction of motion to form "trains". They are therefore not notably slower in the fuller channels. To pause, click "start/stop". To start over, refresh the page.

Try adjusting the Act-CPM parameters λact and maxact.

Suggestion: change λact to 0. Cells should stop moving. Now change λact to 800. Cells move a lot faster and rarely turn. Finally, set λact back to 500 and increase maxact to 80. Cells should get larger, more stable protrusions and turn less often.
